Dianait was working fine. I could smell a faint overheatingburning dust smell. ran out of thread in bobbin but once I replaced this it no longer works. the motor is still running but it is disengaging the needle like when it is jammed. if I press the pedal really slowly it will work really slowly I think it needs a cleanservice.

Stephaniei cant adjust the stitch length. the stitches are getting smaller and smaller and when I adjust the stitch length knob it has no effect.
Cathyneedle not picking up thread from bobbin. have cleaned bobbin area and checked needle position but it looks as if the needle jolts when entering the under carriage.
Miriamstitch setting knob stuck also foot plate switch stuck .not sewing propally does nt always pick up from bobbing .it is over 30 years old I havn t used it for a while is it worth repairing
