the tension is completely out the thread from the spool is in multiple quite long loops all on top of one another. I am not sure of the model number I had this from new 30 years ago I have not used it recently because of the issue with the tension but I love the machine and want to start using it again. I would like to know what it costs for you to transport and look at the machine for an hour. I appreciate any parts or labour to complete a repair would be in addition but I just want some idea of the cost before I commit myself. many thanks
