i live on the wirral but am leaving the machine at my sisters in cheltenham for 2 weeks while I am away. her phone number is x x x there is a problem with pressure and tension when needle position is altered eg for zips and piping. 2. stitching shows the odd stitch that is out of line especially on gabardine or corduroy weight fabric almost like an occasional zig zag stitch3. the feed plate probably needs replacing as it is rough where the needle has hit it.4. I now have problems with embroidery too as the stabilizer catches and rips the stitches jam under the feed plate.i suspect the components on the left hand parts leading to the needle have been affected by wear and tear and may need replacing.i have tried different needles and adjusting the tension manually but feel it needs a proper overhaul now.i use it constantly as I run a small craft business and I expect to pick up orders for christmas.i will need it to be returned by 25th nov.my mobile phone number is x x x

silver x I think it is the cam belt as I cannot get the needle to go up and down. tried cleaning lint out of bobbin bit, but oil in the little holes, changed tension but no better. not sure if you are working during these strange times but if you are perhaps you could give me a rough idea of cost. I am sure it is not a terribly expensive machine so may not be worth mending it. having said that I am rather fond of it.
