machine is making a loud clunking noise suddenly when in use. ive been using it for upholstery fabric and perhaps ive over done it. its an old electric singer that belonged to my mother. I stay in montrose.

its only been used for tiny little jobs over the last years and not done a major job. I have neglected it and now I expect it to perform well. seriously it is stitching but badly. all the tensions are wrong. im sure the machine it still ok although it is old and probably needs to be serviced and adjusted. if it is not worth sorting out I hope you would tell me before I spend money on it.
