bottom bobbin won spin no idea why.


i have a jones model e sewing machine which is over 40 years old. it works fine but the foot pedal appears to be faulty, so could you advise as to either a repair to the foot pedal or a replacement foot pedal.


skipping stitches particularly on thicker fabrics but also on normal cotton fabric


singer concerto 2 centre little knob and spring in bobbin casing has sprung out, and tension doesn`t seem to be working. machine sounds noisy


the tension button is faulty


pedal sticking.... bad smell so have been using manually. now material is not feeding through stitching in one place and bunching thread. is it worth servicing and repairing or investing in a new machine thanks in advance for your help.


it appears that I was using the wrong needle and the needle broke. when I removed the fabric I was sewing the sewing machine would not work. I sounds normal but the needle does not move at all. thanks


bottom thread tension seems to have a mind of its own. I have tried lots of different types of thread and adjusted tension throughout range. it suffers from bunching or slack lower thread most of the time which makes the machine frustrating to use to say the least.
